Of course its my personal taste :P. I just feel that the mods are cliche, not trashy. And i'm a man who doesn't usually conform to a specific mold :P.

I hate that yellow tint, every street racing douche dick in Salisbury has them.. They're annoying as fuck, and unfunctional what-so-ever. The idea was ripped off of the Le Mans races, they had a yellow 3m seal put over the lights so they didn't blind the other drivers, and to protect their lights.. Now its just a cheap tint that kids put over their lights, than illuminate with ridiculous HID lights to the point that it almost looks like they have HPS light bulbs, lol.

On the other hand, almost anything that isn't a SBC is garbage to me.. Maybe i'm a little bias.

Well at least I'll be using lamin-x tint so it will be durable. Main reason I'm going yellow is because I love the look of the old bugs with yellow tinted lights and it goes well with red.

Need to do something cuz my headlights are trashed, and they don't make ANY good looking aftermarket beetle lights.. they are ugly. So Ive bought a new set and fully disassembled them, sent all the reflective chrome coated parts to justdipit.net to have them coated in midnight chrome to match my taillights. Then I got some true hid projector lenses that I've fitted to them for the hids I already had. Finishing it all off with the yellow tint on the lenses just to make a real one of a kind set of beetle headlights from a factory set about half way through the hard stuff atm

Honestly I just wish I could afford to paint the car and find a suitable replacement for my RSI spoiler (love that big ass wing but it doesn't fit the look anymore since I lifted it) but for now I'll just deal with it looking a little off till that money comes haha.

and all the CF can just be peeled off. went thru the trouble of putting it on couple days ago, so just rocking it for a bit. everything is all white. my rear/hatch has been debadged and painted.
put the bandaid stickers there because someone swiped me while i was inside the building working. ordered the bandaids, turned out they were huge, but i wasted 5 bucks and waited couple days on shipping so why not slap it on.
the necklace is just something i wasnt ever wearing and my friend gave it to me as a gift. its more of a good luck charm if anything.
i just got the fenders rolled so my new wheels/tires wont rub, which is why theres a nice gap. once i get enough money for a full SS TEIN coilovers with pillowballs or Meganracing blues, its gonna go down bout .5"

my JDM OEM Stanleys come with the yellow foglights already in. it came like that. on the three sets i have bought. they all have yellow fogs.
as for my uneven license plate. it came off ebay ofc. and it said UNIVERSAL. soooo. lol. i had to drill some holes and just slap it on just because in california you get pulled over and cited or ticketed for not having a front license plate.

etc.

i still like my car at the end of the day so meh.




just getting into the car game, i havnt did much but i have did some basics.
changed brake pads/rotors/brake lines which i might add was really gay because everything was so old and rusty.
just simple shit like changing the vtec solenoid gasket, maintenance like oil/ps/radiator all fluids.

not much but i can sure say its some what more than what your average day person can do.

everything i bought was installed myself haha.
cant afford shop work anyways.
probably gonna keep engine stock.

next mod is definately good coilovers.

How much weight do you save with the carbon fiber gas door plate? 8 grams?



just bustin your balls. Put the stock gas cover back on and I like it even more.
