whats your insurance rate goin to be after? A few years ago my buddy was in your situation ended up almost paying 10k a year for insurance on a 98 accord sedan he was about 22 at the time.

That's a little absurd lol.
10k is like $800/month..
I'm sure someone paying ~$70 a month for insurance would maybe see their insurance go to $200/month tops.

any ability to file for a temporary restricted license so you can drive to work/school?
i don't know your state/laws but it might be something worth looking into.

canada m8, if your license is gone you cant have any restricted license here.
luckily i have co-workers and couple friends i've met at the school so I got those 2 covered.

my insurance with the infiniti was 307$ w/o any points or accidents, and just before I lost license
it shot up to $467. could be more after the discharge i recieved.

and yes i know i fucked up and am paying for it dearly by having to almost put my life on hold
for a year and after the trial I realized how close I was to killing myself and endangering the other driver on the
road at the scene of the crash. Honestly taking this opportunity to reflect back on my life and to improve
myself as whole. It definitely could have been alot worse and as much as I hate to admit it, I'm lucky
that my actions only got a year prohibiton rather than any permanent damage for the rest of my life

I just really am going to miss the therapeutic midnight cruises to clear my head after a long day

I had this happen to me before

If you need to store it for more than 6 months you will need to remove every piece possible off the car, the engine too, pretty much like lego. Remove the rims from the tires and place one tire in each corner of the garage you are storing it in. When you are ready to use it again you will need you paint the car another color, because the cops remember you and will harass you if you don't change anything. You can call infiniti they should be able to supply you with an Ikea type "how-to-assemble" booklet. You will need a screw driver and alan key. Also don't forget the oil change and I recommend 94 octane fuel on start up.

Let me know if you need more info

Pour salt everywhere inside and out the car - salt is great at preserving things

put rice in the salt too. so the salt doesn't get stuck together over time.
