Also there are very few of us that are actually motorsports people.

The rest are just people with normal cars

Were you doing a gncc this year or you had already raced one? And I hear you man I already missed the first race due to work, fortunately I'm able to take the summer off this year otherwise there would be no way.

I raced the general at Aonia. I was supposed to race Big Buck in Union, SC but i ended up having to work. I'm going to run a mix of SORCS, SETRA, and Mid East.

Searching for his first track car and he finds one of the hardest cars to drive ever produced. Smart.

least when he puts it into the wall we won't have to hear him talk about it anymore

(assuming of course he actually buys one and isn't talking out his ass like always)

Been extremely busy putting hours in at work. 60-70 per week...!

This pay period I'll have 120 hours in two weeks :D
But its going towards new adjustable suspension . New sway bars and bushings. And a rear end spool. All for the Ae86.

I had a 99GTS. Was possibly one of the worst cars to drive ever. I think the only positive things I have to say about it was I like the exhaust note, and it did VERY good burnouts. Other than that. It's a lumber wagon with a big ass motor and usually spends more time sliding tail lights first than it does headlights first.

Hated that fucking car. Lost 7k on the damn thing too.

For the most part yes. The new SRT version is miles ahead of the dodges. I still don't think I'd buy one unless I got a very good deal on it.

The old vipers were VERY crude. they ride like a brick. the visibility is horrible. The seating position does not fit me at all and there is very limited adjustability. To carry out a conversation while driving is impossible with the side exit exhaust. Even with factory "mufflers" and the fact that it has side exhaust means that the exhaust piping runs directly under you so it's kinda like sitting in a hot box even in mild weather.

The viper is a cool car. That's how I describe it. It's quick and it's fun to drive once a month. Other than that... it would not make a good track car... ABout the only category they fit into is standing / rolling mile runs. There are a few people running 1400-1600hp with a sequential gearbox and they do really really well. The only downfall is the v10 does not make boost very efficiently so a sequential gearbox or automatic conversion is almost necessary.
