no snow in the intake. smelled fuel slightly like the time i had a fuel leak but then the smell went away and there was no leaking so i think the fuel may not be reaching the engine. starter cranks strong.

Maybe your right if it was warm, cold, warm cold it could've caused condensation in the lines and then froze.
Almost created for example a blood clot but in your gas line.

It's been like 50 degrees for 4 days now though.

Lines could be vapor locked, I dont know jeep motors well or I could give you better advice

Try disconnecting fuel from the throttle body and let it sit a bit

Spark plugs bad?

I use to have a 91 jeek cherokee and one thing I replaced that fixed alot of my starting issues was the crank shaft sensor.

From what ive heard it sounds like the same issue I had when I had my car.

Yep. The only thing that has failed on my 4.0 was the crank angle sensor. Lots of variables here, regarding no start..but I figured I'd post this regardless, as it happened to me, with the same engine.

Best of luck.

Agreeing with the last couple responses. Has to do with the ignition. Not getting spark for some reason.

disconect fuel line crack it over a few times if fuel comes out its good. step 2 get a spark plug tester go down the line see if u get spark. 2 basic easy ways to check ur 3 major things with because ur missing either fire, air, or fuel

Sensor is around 40 bucks.

Here's a video on how to replace it.

Test for spark, there are a few ways to do this. A tester, as mentioned, is the easiest method.

No spark? Most likely, the ECU doesn't know how fast the engine is spinning, or where TDC is. That would lead one to believe it is the crank sensor.

Or if you don't want to do any of that diagnosis stuff, you can always throw money and parts at the problem.
