Lol... I have pirelli tires on the Camaro and I'm not impressed. They make nice dirtbike tires though lol.
Here is the shit end of the deal on this engine... There aren't any machine shops within 100 miles that I would let near an LS1 block, and I'd be better off throwing a hand grenade in each cylinder than letting them sleeve it. The seller actually had his LS2 block resleeved by a machine shop local to him that does a lot of LSX builds. He hasn't had any problems out of that LS2 and it runs 11.0's in a silverado N/A.
So I'm going to drive it back down to jacksonville and drop it off at the machine shop. I see it needs 2 liners. We will see what they say about the rest. He said they are expensive but good.
I'm going to pay for new bearings and rings, he is going to pay for the liners to be installed and to have the block cleaned and honed for assembly. It's actually cheaper for me to drive it down there and pick it up than it is to ship it.
