Credibility smedibility
if the car has a MAF and the changes are pre MAF the ECM will adjust fueling accordingly for Stoich. It could throw the VE tables off slightly but your fuel trims will still adjust for it.
I will say this 1 more time for stupidkid and the OP. Don't run a K&N. Do some filtration research. There are people out there that have been modding fuel injected vehicles for 2 decades. The testing has been done. When you can swap air filters and find higher silicon and wear metal weights in a oil sample it is obvious the air filter is not filtering correctly. Then there is MAF fouling from the oil... if you must have a CAI get an Amsoil dry media filter or equiv and do some research. Clean air is as important or more important than clean oil. Dirty air is the primary cause of top end wear.
I never claimed to be a mechanic, nor do I hold a lot of general knowledge of cars, so good for you. I guess I learned something and that's as far as my care goes.
