I'm looking into buying one currently

I've test driven both models and the p86D is just insane

At the moment I would have to go to Atlanta to pick one up, except I want it in dark green with the cream leather interior. So I would be put on a waiting list for production. It's like 3-4 months what they estimated for me.

Can drop 45,000 on down payment. And have the rest paid off in about 3 years or less.

They still won't give me a timeline on when they would out a tesla station in my city which is kind of making me wait. There's 4 other tesla owners in my city and I've spoken to 2 about their desire for a supercharging station. And we even picked out the location that it should be in since its a vacant lot

I like how they compare it to the hellcat charger.

The tesla has more tq, awd and its electric lol
The thing is a boat though at like 4930lbs, even beating the hellcat by a few hundred.

Its 0-60 is impressive but still 6/10ths slower in the 1/4 mile

Its a cool car though, im just insure why they said the hellcat lost badly??

I disagree. Being the first of its type, I think these cars have more character in the front motor than 99% of the same ole bullshit that rolls off of the assembly line today. I love the idea that soon they'll have better range than even the best hybrids, with more power than even the fastest sports cars.

E: And not to sound old, but come on man... The safety ratings? It fucking broke one of the machines it was being tested on.

you can put warp drive in it, it would still be without a "soul" driven by electrons. i'm not talking about range, performance etc. i'm talking pure feelings, sound and stuff that isn't written down in numbers.
there is a certain "romance" in internal combustion that cannot be matched or replaced by electricity.

again, I'd have to disagree. The idea that we can turn out almost 700hp out of an electric motor is godly amazing.. To give you a comparison of what a 700hp motor looks like normally vs what they are able to reproduce in such a small fashion.

Its different, but it definitely has soul. You want more? Pop a CD of a 440 in the deck and turn it all the way up when you punch it, that'll make you happy.

Ever driven a 700hp car? Especially a brand new one? Lol, I've taken some pretty monstrous cars down the 1/4 mile and 8th, but 700hp is a different beast I've never tapped.. First time I ran a liter bike down the 1/4, I ran it in 12.6 because it got squirley and scared the shit out of me "shortly after I was running anywhere between 9.8-10.4 though"

It all depends on the balls between the driver, thats it. Oh, and Traction control helps lul.

Well if he was a god awful driver (clearly was) then that's a shitty unfair comparison. :p

I get what you mean though, but 17 seconds? Was Justin exaggerating?
Just grandma shifting taking off in 4th and only easing into the throttle id think under 17 was achievable haha
