Calm down princess.

It will be tuned after my warranty is over.

If it was safe and legit, I would try it out.  If it could do any harm, I would stay far away.

You're not getting it...

This is just as fake as any other "tuner" on *** that offers 70mpg and 600hp. Just because they brought the numbers down does not change what it is.

All these things ever do is plug in line with the MAF or IAT sensor and use a small resistor. This accomplishes absolutely nothing. If you saved 1 gallon in the next 100,000 miles using this I would shit my pants in shock.

But, to answer your question. Yes, Its safe. This will do absolutely NOTHING to you car. From a harmful standpoint or tuning standpoint.

Go to autozone and buy a bag of assorted resistors and you can accomplish the same thing for 4 dollars. That's a 1,000% savings! offer only lasts today though *As seen on TV* -- insert other pos puns here.

This isn't what you think it is. Its essentially a MAF spacer. There is no new plug in or resistor. It will adjust the tune as its going to cause the MAF to read wrong.

So it runs the motor lean for 1 tank of gas, the computer compensates for running lean and you are back at square one.

This might work on a crude early obd2 vehicle but there is no way in hell this is going to get around self compensating ecu's that are in every new vehicle out there.

This is no different the people pulling a certain fuse out of their fuse box to "reset" the learned information back to factory. Within 1-2 tanks of gas you are back at square one. Until you actually tell the computer to shoot for a leaner A/F ratio graph, the computer will just keep adjusting back to obtain the correct a/f ratio graph that is programmed from the factory.

Today's cars are not like they were 15 years ago. there are tons of sensors to fool to actually get this to work correctly for any period of time. IAT/MAF/upstream & downstream o2's, egr,pcv etc etc etc.

Its going to run leaner since the computer is not going to compensate for the spacer being there. It reads assuming everything is as normal then adjusts. I'm not saying its a good idea but it will do something.

For a short time yes. There are still tons of other sensors that all play a factory in the actual A/F ratio that the car will run. On an older vehicle, yes, this might work to some extent as back in the day these sensors did not communicate with each other like they do now.

If this honestly did do what it says it does, it would be well over 40 dollars. The TS Stryker is the simplest power adder out there for new diesels. It's a dial with a built in resistor that adjusts the fueling of the new cummins trucks. It honestly does work as injector timing plays a huge role in the amount, and delivery of fuel to the cylinder. (Which in a diesel, is half of your power gain) They are over 400 dollars for a unit that plugs into 1 sensors and costs 5 bucks to make.

If this worked like advertised they would be sold out and backordered for 15 years.

Altering the output of any of your OBDII sensors without a proper tune is a bad idea. I haven't looked at a BRZ tune to say for sure but typically most MAF systems have several tables that determine whether MAF or VE is referenced for fueling. One is RPM based, which means this product would have no effect over a certain RPM and engine load. Another is TPS based which means it wouldn't do anything at WOT.

Your MAF is used for idle and part throttle fueling adjustments as well as transient fueling. This part would lean out all the fueling in your MAF table. Burst knock is most likely to happen on throttle transition in the low and mid rpm ranges at high load (rolling into the gas going up a steep hill.) By leaning this area out you are increasing the likelihood of knock in the area with the highest total timing. You would have no way to know this is happening. I'm not a princess, i don't want you to blow your shit up. Have a nice day.

I'm waiting........

Ignorant? sure.

I made a thread asking questions.
I received answers.

I don't think calling me ignorant about a topic I obviously don't know about is very insulting.

But now that you mention it, you're a pretty princess too.
