i have a 1988 trans am with fully forged internals that i personally built from the chassis out, car had a 305 with a 700r4 with stock 2.73 now its a 350 bored .06 over carb'd with a t400 and 4.10 gears

my daily driver is a 2007 bmw 335i i6 twin turbo with 400hp

my next car will either be a BMW m4 or a CL63 AMG

i am a performance enthusiast, i like to go fast, i like to accelerate extremely fast.

both luxury performance cars i mentioned will walk a STI or Evo and make it look like a stock civic

not to mention i got my "luxury performance" car for $17,000, and it will walk an evo or an sti of ANY year

these cars are overpriced and there is no arguing it lol


this evo mentioned in this topic will sell for the same price as a BMW m4, what makes it worth this much?

definetely not the features, definetely not the power, definetely not the suspension

For the price (listed at new Msrp), the is one of the best  cars for price/performance.

I dont get where you are going with this. These luxury car companies arent only luxury cars, they make the highest stock class performance cars too.

You dont see corvette zr1s with 1000hp, you know why? The block cant even handle 800. The top of the line chevrolet cant even handle real power. Where are the ford gt's at, oh yeah they are a poor excuse for a super car. Wheres subarus super car? Wheres mitsubishis cars? Mitsubishi makes one decent model.

When you spend $50,000 you should be getting $50,000 worth of car, an evo is not that.

What are you talking about? I said teen to young adult.. (most of the people on this forum). And there are plenty of performance enthusiasts who love high end "luxury performance cars," they just cant afford it. The STI's Looks: Average/Below Average. Power: Average (Decent for the price). Prestige: Below Average.

Conclusion: EVO or STI is just a poor man's porsche if you will. Not worth 35k (at least in my opinion)
