you can get the new bmw m4

they are really easy to get 500+ hp out of

stock they have 425 and with a good tune and some reliability upgrades, you can push 500-550 easily ( $1000-$1500 depending on if you do the work yourself, intercooler and larger charge pipe, NO BOV BMW's ARE NOT MEANT TO HAVE THEM, it will make you lose power )

There are some really good cnc programs out there for stock 243 castings (ls6 heads.)  AI makes a nice set.  People make 450-470whp with those heads and quality supporting mods on an ls1 when using a healthy cam.

That is enough to trap 122mph in a GTO.

Cam-$400
Tuning-$500-$750
Clutch-$600

As i've cautioned everyone that considers a c6z, please set aside $5k cash after purchase to have the heads addressed. If you are already pushing your price limit to get into one and you plan on driving it a lot or dding it you could be stuck with a very expensive paperweight. If anyone wants me to i can elaborate.

Holy.. $5k?? I haven't heard anything about that. I know the 07's had issues but I thought they were fine after that.
