Audi's and VW's are known to be problematic. I can talk from "experience" since you dont care about facts.
Known to be by whom? Personal experience is irrelevant, it's not generizable and it's a logical fallacy. Audi's are purported to be reliable by reliability survey's, which are usually the response people will give you if you say personal experience isn't an argument.
Every car is reliable if you take care of it. That's fact. Take care of your car and most people should have relatively few problems with their car. More expensive cars to fix have a worse reputation for reliability. Why? Because they tend to be cars with better performance, which means people tend to drive them too hard, and people are more likely to complain about a fix for a car if they have to pay more for it. The luxury car brands with reputations for reliability are Acura and Lexus, not surprising considering they're the luxury cars which are less likely to be owned by those seeking 'performance', and the cost to fix them is very similar to their "mother" brands in Honda and Toyota.
No car is objectively unreliable. That's fact. It's all subjective.
