That's what I was saying. An F1R Procharger kit is almost $6k. Any roots style blower that is going to make equal power will be at least that if not more.

They are more now... I remember the prochargers used to be the "expensive" route to blowers. They've come down a lot in price over the years.

Yeah you can figure $6k for a universal F1R blow through kit or $10k for a stage 4 BDS 8-71 that makes about the same power. It will make a lot more down low though.

I'm a little ass backwards i guess. I always liked the Prochargers for track only setups and a Roots style for the street just for that reason.

When you have a 3500 or 4000 stall, there isn't a real need for the low end torque. Just my 2 cents though.
