Only WRX thing on the car is the body. Everything else is ''upgraded''. a WRX or a STi with the same exact mods... what's the difference ?
The title, which means the value when you go to sell this thing will be crappy low. It'll be considered a WRX. With or without all the STi goodies.
Secondly, the benefit is that your insurance will be much cheaper, since it is considered a WRX. But let's say you get into a car accident with full coverage. The insurance company will pay you for the value of a WRX, not an STi. So if you total that car, you might get lucky to get a $9000 check.
99% of insurance companies do not pay for "extra goodies" you put in your car, unless you request "extra goodies" insurance, which is an additional monthly cost, obviously.
