Any video you would recommend?

Light pressure on a mild cut pad with a fine compound is probably all you need. Compound is aggressive and removes the clear coat. Polish removes the swirls the compound leaves. Wax protects your newly restored finish. Use a synthetic sealant wax for protection unless you want to reapply carnauba every 4-6 weeks.

A polish probably won't be abrasive enough to remove water spots. You will need a compound. A rotary buffer like that is dangerous if you don't have experience. A dual action or DA polisher is much safer. I use a Porter Cable 7424XP. Everything you need to know is on autogeek.

You must live somewhere with city water.

Welcome to chloride spots. Not bad if you get them off right away. Let them bake into the clear coat like yours have, and let the party begin.

Feel for you bro. Shit is a pain in the dick.

When I bought this truck it was clean as fuck..at least I didn't notice it...
Well I would rinse it off everyday with the hose (city water like you said) and it would sit in the sun and dry (lol)
Im guessing thats what did it
I now have some nice clean (i think) well water and dont do this anymore
So it can't be fixed? :(

It can be fixed. The Chloride eats into the clear coat in the sun. Just takes a lot of time and patience to get out and restore.

I have seen one case where the clear coat was gone by the time the marks were out. It's a possibility that you might need to repaint it but that's pretty far out and takes a lot of neglect.

It should be. Paint correction is removing enough clear coat to remove the flaw without removing more than you have too or removing all of it. Go to the parts store, buy the smallest bottle of meguiars ultimate compound. It has micro abrasives and a very strong cut so you can use it by hand. It is too rough for a buffer imo. Take a foam wax applicator pad and follow the instructions on the bottle. Find a rather inconspicuous spot and work on it. Do a little at a time. Apply medium pressure with a circular motion. Wipe it off with a terry or microfiber towel and inspect it. Do this over and over until the spots are gone. If you get nervous about removing too much stop. It would take a lot to burn through by hand. Dont let it dry. It is hard to remove.

If this works the entire truck can be compounded polished and waxed.

Ty! Will try if I get another warm day :D
/I bought Turtle Wax Polishing Compound earlier for a comparison. .did a couple dozen try swipes by hand, removed the haze of water spots in that area but not the etch (outlines of the water spots)
