it shows nascar has a successful business model compared to f1. team owners have built their teams from almost nothing at the brink of bankruptcy into teams worth 8 and 9 figures.

they didnt have to start out with a ton of money. those guys have pieced cars together and are start and parking to gain more money so they can race full races on down the line. its a whole different situation than someone that had to spend however much just to get started in f1 and then went broke.

The engineering in these cars are ..... just pure amazing. I love the sport but I love the cars more

The driver walked away with a sprained ankle and a concussion.
The one upsetting thing is that the risk for racing in F1 is just not the same as it used to be so the appeal for this sport is slowly diminishing

However, I still love it

so the fact that they arent death machines and the driver has a better chance of surviving a crash means f1 isnt as good now?
