That surprises me. I've never heard a single bad remark about a tundra.. if it was a tundra, it would be for work only, I wouldn't crawl mall parking lots. Are those the complaints? The 4wd system?
I'm still leaning towards the Rubicon. Something to tug my pop up along and to run around trails with.

All the power feels like it is up top
Generally feels weak while towing (gearing imo)

That's what i remember. One guy pulls a 7500lb 31ft camper and he says his old 2006 reg cab long bed 5.3 silverado pulled it better but the tundra has better brakes. He has no brand affiliation but he feels like the toyota dealer duped him.
The tundra seems like a failed cross between a 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton to me. The cons of both with the pros of neither.
