its funny that none of you can even begin to admit that it couldve had any part in his decision. i guess you smoke weed because you like the smell because it obviously doesnt have any other effects on a person.

you can't have it both ways. you can't say weed is a subjective experience and then criticize others for not saying it had an objective effect.

i have no idea how it effected him, but i have never heard/seen/read about anyone that did anything this blatantly suicidal just because they were high on marijuana.

i have however heard/seen/read about rage causing this type of behavior.

Dude, if anything people that are high on marijuana are more careful and cautious than normal.
I smoke and drive every day of my life and I have never once gotten into an accident or felt that I was too high to drive.
It might have affected his decision making slightly but what he did was purely his decision and that wasn't based on the fact that he was high on marijuana.
The guy was stupid for exiting his vehicle and getting near a vehicle that was moving at high speeds.

Coroner's report should read this.

Cause of death: Stupidity

Nope
It was strictly the reefers.

this, he was probably just going through an episode of the munchies and simply thought that tony stewart's car was a giant twinkie.

the rage probably caused him to get out of the car to approach stewart to throw his hands up.

the weed probably caused him to get closer to the moving vehicle than he realized until it was too late.

the problem being "enough to impair judgement" is not at all conclusive.

it's a generalized guesstimate based on someone with an unknown tolerance.

it's the difference between a first time smoker vs a 20 year smoker...1 hit is going to be wildly different results even though they both receiver the same dosage.

yeah impaired judgement from being high had nothing to do with him doing something stupid on the track

true but it works that way in the workplace. Had a coworker last year get lacerated by sheet steel because the crane guy didnt fasten the sheet properly and it fell tearing a huge gash in the dudes leg. Dude that got injured was fired for having weed in his system even though it had nothing to do with that..just how policy is. But they did give him the option after 12 months to get his job back if he wanted it.

policy is policy, no one ever said it had to make use of reason, logic, and rationality lol

kinda like some traffic laws where even if you were at fault and tboned someone but you were clean and they were intoxicated, it would default to your favor in the end most of the time just based on the fact that they had shit in their system.

Not at all.
This guy smoked before he drove which pretty much tells me hes comfortable with it and does it all the time.
Yes, it has a little bit to do with how close he got but the weed had no affect on his rational decision to leave his vehicle & move in on a moving vehicle.

He made a rash decision to exit his vehicle and he got himself killed.
