Did you really just call the A4 crap while suggesting a CLA?

They may look decent, but there is no quality in those cars at all. I actually was somewhat interested in the CLA45 until I drove one. The CLA250s are terrible...

M cars cost way more to maintain then a S model Audi...And AMG cost the most.

But yes anyone whos new to German cars..Will be surprised on costs vs Jap/American.. I myself only choose Euro all day.

Well some years Ill find only oil changes were the only thing I spend money on in maintenance. and others it may be things like bushing @ 50-60k or a coolant overhaul so it balances out and is a safe number. I recently picked up an E90M and would have to say they are very dependable and have very issues that Id have to deal with throughout its life.

At the end of the day tho, you have to pay to play!

Well if you want an a4 you should not be dumb and just get an s4.

Plus audi has the worse engine failure rate out of those listed.

And I thought the a4 was the most reliable and cheapest to maintain out of the 3.

I dunno about you, but where I live (DC Maryland VA Area) cops are literally out to get you. Go 7 above the limit and you risk getting a stupid ticket. There's literally nowhere to "race" and fully unlock the performance specs of any of those cars really with anything over 80 considered reckless driving.

I'd go for purely aesticics and interior comfort than raw engine power. To me, the 4 door audi doesnt look sharp as a 2 door (A5). BMW 3 series looks nice too, but not as nice as the CLA AMG. If you really want nice looks on bmw, get a used 6 series or something.

If I go for audi, I'd go for the A5 or S5
If I go for BWM, I'd go for a black/white/grey 3 series or used 6 series
If I go for Benz, I'd go for anything "AMG" or "sport" as the bases look kinda ugly. And the cheapest AMG? Guess what? C or CLA.... Else you feel like you're driving a boat

You do make some good points. I was going to buy an A4 but I'd have to do quite a bit to make it look cosmeticly nice.. When I usually do performance>cosmetics on cars first.
A5/S5 be nice if he can get one and wants AWD.

BMW.. I love their Blue they got.. Black, White..all perfect. New F30 looks amazing outside. Main reason I'd love a 335i M Sport...6 Series.. No, too big for a coupe.

Benz.. Have to agree.. I only like them for AMG's.. Their base cars are dull as hell and lifeless.. And the Sport models do look a bit nicer.. But non-AMG are so lifeless and boring..Yes, very nice inside etc.. but in a performance aspect..boring as hell. And even then CLA45 AMG is nice.. but I'd rather get a C63 AMG.
But for the price of a C63.. I'd much rather prefer a Audi RS5 or F80 M3/4
