Why in the world do you want a 15+ year car with at least 175,000 kilometers that costs you around 5000?

Because anything that's well maintained will last. I understand it's an Audi but some people really like them. My buddy bought one for 3k with 200k miles on it, always dealer maintained, full paperwork. Understandably that's a diamond in the rough find but they're out there. Oh, and the car is stage 3 now and takes a daily beating, nothing has given way yet.

Finding one that is well maintained is hard enough, now find one which has never been driven in the winter/hard which doesn't need body work. 2001 is the latest in the B5 A4 model and that's three years out of VWs 12 year rust warranty.

Want an old beater pay $500-1000, not $5000.
