Learn to "walk" speed bumps
?
?
Profit
At some point you can't walk it. I can only get over really low, wide speed bumps in my T/A. Having to fit an exhaust system sized for a V8 under the car has it's disadvantages.

Less suspension travel would make it perform better though.
Imo you should stop wasting money on lowering springs and just get coils with adjustable dampening. Np.
Negative ghost rider. Just because it rides like a go-kart doesn't mean it handles well. It plays a trick on your mind. The factory suspension travel on a sports car is pretty much spot on from the factory. A shock with more compression and rebound to control that travel is what is ideal, it just rides like shit. For a serious track car you lower for the CG improvement and shorten the shock so suspension travel isn't greatly effected. A factory length shock will ride high in the stroke after the car is lowered which greatly effects it's ability to control compression and rebound.
Think of it like this. The shock controls the spring which controls force applied to the ground(traction.) If you have barely any travel in the spring there is nothing left to control. You are riding on on coil bind under any type of loaded. At that point a hard bump would cause the tire to bounce and you lose all traction.
