absolutely no way I would ever buy a car off craigslist lol

sure sometimes you can get a GREAT deal, but most of them are out trying to screw people out of money.

there's people that make their living off reselling stuff on craigslist

this is supposedly strike three because i have been told not to post here.

i have bought multiple cars off Craigslist, and never had any problems. i have had tons of friends buy cars on craigslist, never had a problem.

idk if its just your area or w/e. sure there are guys that buy cars that need work, and fix them and sell them. and to be honest, thats whats in your price range.

you have also given us no other information but that you need some sort of car for 2k-2.5k that will last 6 months.

there are literally hundreds out there, break it down further, car/truck/suv ect

I said 1 year! and a little extra to get me through my first couple of paychecks

And I can't really be picky with 2-2.5k, but I can make sure I don't get fucked.

That's my only worry, if I got a car off CL and it died a month later I couldn't sue or anything

at least most nice used car lots have a 90 day warranty.

you only get screwed if you have no idea about cars. also a dealership will fuck you over just as much. go with craigslist

Plenty of nice car lots around my house with 2-3k cars, there's a multi acre lot down the interstate a tad that's really reputable

I'm just trying to find the best deal, namean

Less money spent on car means more money for beer ;)

Explain to me how Craigslist is different than a dealership?

A dealer makes a living selling cars. Just like somebody who fixes up and flips cars on Craigslist. Nice benefit to Craigslist = not the same overhead as a dealer.

For what you're wanting to spend Craigslist or elsewhere (not a dealership) is your option.

Your best opportunity of a deal will come from an owner selling a car online.......like Craigslist.

Guaranteed.
