yeah, the actual rim behind it looks identical to the chrome cladding / cladding as i said is melted to the rim so worse case scenario is if you curb the rim good and shatter it, you can always shave off all the rims cladding and just leave the satin finshed aluminum rim.. allthough from what i read, that cladding is impossible to get off because of the adhesive they use. You would have to break it off in 1000 tiny pieces and then somehow grind off the rock hard adhesive from the rim.. or pay 700$ for a new rim
