6'2"is squishing a lot of man into the cockpit of a 600. The gsxr 600 and zx6r have the best seating position for a taller guy imo.  Look at the GSXR 750 also. 600 with more engine.

I'd have to disagree. i'm 6'2" and i've always fit great on cbr's

the new 600rr i just bought a few months back is by far the most comfortable sports bike ive ever been on!

I think msrp at the time i purchased was 9,999 (pretty cheap considering 600's are 11-12k now-a-days)

I'm 6'11'' and yesterday I did a 2:30 hour drive with a gsxr750 and it was not this bad. You just need sometimes to push it a little so your wrist say thank you :P

I also tried alot of kawa as zx-10r zx-6r z1000 and en6r and the zx-14 and almost all of them were pretty cool, but I really enjoyed more the z1000 as it's more a confortable driving position.

In my opinion, if you don't weight more than 200 pounds, a 750 should be enought, and even more if it's your first bike. If you feel like there is not enought power, then go for the 1k. Just make sure by trying it first for 1-2 hour (if possible) that you like the position.

he said hes been riding for 8 years just on the same bike so i dont think hes gonna have any trouble going with something bigger if he decides to. it kind of throws you off though when someone says ive only owned 1 bike and want something else

Thankfully you can't see yourself on the bike. They are designed around a 5'6"-5'10" rider. It's not that you won't fit, as you know you will. It changes the seating position. I'm glad your CBR is comfortable for you.

Is the issue with the stance? or is it only something you can tell from hours on the road?

the r6 tends to make you hold yourself up with your arms so longer rides really make your arms tired for example.

Exactly this, or if you have hand/arm pain and you just so happen have to ride your R6, you're not going to have a fun time.

I had one day where I injured my hand at work and riding my R6 home was one of the most excruciating pains I've ever encountered. I'm sure it would've hurt on any bike, but all my weight being on my arms and hands did nothing to help.

I appreciate your concern, however the one bike I owned I rode for 8 years. ( I just dont know the sport bike market. )

Kinda interested in people posting bike pics / pros / cons / prices.

?

All I'm saying your 1st sport bike should not be a 'busa.
