Yet they do it so poorly.....Sorry, I've watched too many comparison reviews and ALL of them say that the twins drive better......And all of them agree that it just needs a little more hp.

Poorly isn't exactly the right word......but reviewers clearly express a different feeling in a brz......the driver's car....and when in a straight line car, they express the acceleration differences...

I don't understand why you argue facts....

$25k for a used car, yes. I could name a bunch of used cars for $25k that could be better.  Nothing against lotus, of course.

How it feels = opinions

The fact that a GT will beat a BRZ around just about any actual track = fact.

The more you know.

I would much prefer a car that handles just bit worse, but can haul ass the second you are coming off the turn. And in real world.. You aren't going to push a GREAT handling car to the limits on the street, where as a fast car you can, in a lot safer manner.

Nobody is going to argue that a GT will beat a twin around a track..... with that said....the GT is $5k more.....

And if you want to compare a GT, have fun getting sub 20 MPG....I mean, let's be realistic, not everyone tracks their cars, i'm sure the majority are just DDers.

That depends on where you're driving. There isn't really, in my opinion, any car that will be fun in traffic. If you want to race stop lights, that's your wish.

I don't agree with a fast car being any more safer than a small, slower car.

The point went totally past you it seems, Getting on your car when no one is around is A LOT safer than taking a hard corner going really fast with nobody around, since you don't know what is around that bend. Giving your car throttle from a stop light even in traffic isn't too dangerous either, I am not talking street racing from light to light here.

I am also not saying a fast car or slow car is safer to drive, the driver is in control of that.

Okay, let's make tons of random scenarios of when and where driving around corners and driving straight where no other cars exist is safer or not.

:wallbash:

Because people don't EVER lose control of their vehicle going too fast...

Yes, the DRIVER is control of that. So, don't you think a car that handles better would be safer......? I really don't see how you can argue that.

And where did I say any of this? Again you missed the point.
Which are you more likely to lose control in, using your fast car aggressively going straight or using your great handling car aggressively in a corner?

Why would a better handling car be safer at all in a day to day drive? There are situations where both are safer... Sometimes you need speed to get out of a sticky situation, sometimes you need handling.

Shall we do some more wall bashing?

Realistic "sticky" situations don't need 350+hp to get out of.....If you need that, you're not being a safe driver while being aware of your surroundings.
