If he paid 600 for the fiberglass hood he's an idiot.

So, clearly this was rednecked together. Fixable. Good price for a rust free Fox. Interior needs work is an understatement, and it sits like a 4x4. Not to mention the electrical tape wiring, which would be my first fix.

Auto sucks, luckily T5's for these are cheap and plentiful.

Tails are painfully ugly.

Fuel pump isn't OEM style. Which I find odd, somebody would go through the trouble of rigging up another style fuel pump to work, on a carbed car. I would have just run a mechanical personally, but whatever. It works.

Extra tach seems super out of place. Firstly, theres already one there...Secondly it's an auto. Unless there's a stage 2 shift kit  it's completely useless, and I doubt the 351 will be revving to 10k.

Keep an eye on the single core radiator.

And what are the 2 random gauges on the hood?

Other than that, good find for the price. When you start working on it, please do it right.

yep tail lights, fugly ass off roading tires, and the auto are the 3 bigs i noticed that i give a thumbs down to. luckily they can all be fixed (unless he prefers the auto). thats a great price on a pretty solid looking car and a nice windsor to build.

hey bud appreciate the input!
To answer some of your question the hood is a Cervini twin turbo hood - priced at 512 (threw the magazine he said he picked it from that I have with me, can only go off of his word know it doesn't mean much but yeah..)
I do plan on switching to a manual I just want to take care of main priorities first which are Distributor, All the crazy wiring, Interior, Definitely washing the car lol and just a few other things.
I personally do not believe there is a stage 2 shift kit in it.
The two gauges on the hood are, Left - Temp and Right - Fuel PSI.
I really do appreciate the response and if you have any other questions hopefully I can answer to the best of my knowledge and I do not mind any form of idea's being thrown out to help me get this where it needs to be.

Alright the hood is whatever, he paid a bunch of money...Doesn't matter, you didn't buy it. so that's cool.

What exactly is wrong with the current dizzy?

If it is fine my first mods in this order would be: Fix the wiring. That's dangerous as both a fire hazard, and leaving you stranded. 4 core radiator. They are retardedly cheap, I paid 80$ for mine. If's that's an LX and not an LX GT package car, check that rear end. Chances are you have the small rear, they aren't rated to hold V8 power. Grab yourself a nice 8.8 from a GT. Also side note looking at the trim it seems to be a base LX model. Grab some factory tail lights. Get the rest of your interior pieces. Get rid of the extra tach and second temp gauge. Mount the fuel pressure gauge inside the car. Get some real wheels and tires, not those the he got off a farm tractor. Then throw a nice T5 in it. At this point you can worry about things such as suspension, brakes, etc as you see fit. But it would at least be safe and reliable, and a car to be proud of.

I did a carbed Chevy 350/WC t5/8.8 swap on my 88 LX, and I know these cars inside and out. I've been over every inch. If you run into problems you can PM me, I'll likely be able to help.

Currently the car does not have a Distributor. I have no freaking clue why all I know is it's not there which is part of the reason I towed the car to my house instead of trying to drive it from his to mine.
I will have to check out the rear out but I am almost certain it is the regular LX and not the GT. The wiring is definitely a main priority and have a buddy who can tow it to his shop and we can work on it from there and get it done right with extra hands and eyes.
Only down side is it will be awhile before I can get everything purchased to do what is needed for this car to be done but I would rather take my time and saved up decent money to do this car right than to rush it and throw the cheapest stuff I can find in it that's for sure :D

My apologies, I am getting my stuff mixed up. He said the distributor isn't a MSD and that the current distributor is having issues.
I forgot what he said is missing now and am trying to find out. There is a vacuum house that has nothing connected to the end of it but a damn screwdriver -.-'

Which vacuum? The one attached to the distributor? If so this is your vacuum advance. Looks like he removed your vacuum tree and hooked each vacuum to the manifold separately. Works, but looks less clean.

Something else I see, does the fuel pressure regulator have a return line to the tank? I can't see one. If not it can burn your pump out prematurely.
