I'd rock reps, people don't seem to understand that +$3000 for a set of wheels is just a little bit ridiculous.

I usually throw on my 526s or my varrstoens if the tires on my XT7s or my eurolines are dead.

Those arent the only styles that CCW has that resemble other wheels that were also made before CCW.

Another point being the CCW's cost less than 2k and the Rotiform's are closer to 5k.

Okay bud. CCWs are more like 3k and Rotiforms can be over 6k too lol. I trust the quality of CCW more than I trust rotiform, though obviously you shouldn't have problems with either. Rotiform is definitely a company for hardparkers though.

I trust XXR much more than I trust varrstoens . Driving them on the street is fine, but I'd be a little wary of throwing them around on the track. From what I've heard their quality control is pretty non-existent lol.

CCW's are 625 per = ~2000
Rotiforms start at 1250 per = ~5000

That would be $2500, not less than $2000, and that price is for 16s with no options. That $1250 per from rotiform climbs fast as well.

I was just stating standard, starting prices. You're getting too technical. Obviously it depends on what size..

The thing with Rotiforms is that they can (and will) make wheels to whatever spec you'd like, it just gets really expensive.

I talked to them about a set of 18x11 +10s of concave BLQs with exposed hardware and gold finish (I talked to them about super concave BLQs but they only do it for 19+) when I went to to CA for Formula D Long Beach and they were real cool and told me they'd hook me up for $3500

Reps on the track are pretty much a bad idea, but any rim will break on you given the right circumstances

CCW offers the same service, with the same if not better quality rims, for much less lol. That price you were offered is stupidly low though.

And yeah, obviously any rim will break if you beat on it hard enough, but a real TE37 will take alot more abuse than a cast copy. Atleast XXR has quality control standards though.

this is true, but for daily driving, reps for dailies aren't that terrible of an idea unless the roads where you're at are completely fucked.

If you can afford it though, authentics > reps. That's all that it really comes down to, affordability

This happened a few days ago to some kid in an accord with a body kit in my state

Pretty sure they're Avid's. Someone mentioned he hit a pothole, lol.

I'll never buy them. Even more so considering what i drive.

For the extra 800 bucks, i'll get a set of good wheels. Some of these 8 lug companies are a joke lol. Ton of them popping up knocking off BMF, Fuel, Alcoa etc...
