The new 2015's have a 2.0, twin scroll turbo (cool, but...), and equal length headers. These are my complaints for specs, but I am also very disappointed with the use of the new Impreza body to create the Wrx/STi.

They share the same down-placed sideview mirrors (which looks ridiculous) and the front bumper is goofy and bland.

I've had a 2011 in the past and know what I'm doing this time around, so nothing can go wrong (knock on wood, not in my motor ;) )

Yeah I'm 25 as well, insurance full coverage is costing me $195/mo. I was paying $100 for my 2013 Legacy, so it's not a big jump for me.

Sorry boss, definitely not putting anything Simpsons related anywhere on my car. I'm not a badges/stickers kind of guy. I prefer stealth look, though, last time I debadged my car. I will not be doing it this time.

Had my sound system completed last night. Custom squeeze-fit box this time around, versus last time I had a shallow mount single 12" placed in leau of the spare tire. I didn't enjoy the low end bass, so I'm going with my 2x 12" JBL's with an 800 watt JBL mono Amp.

I'm fine with stock speakers for now, they're acceptable. I believe this system is pushing 625 RMS (sound experts can verify for me, if they wish, and thanks in advance).

Here is a picture, sorry for the bright sun:

It runs perfectly flush with the beginning of the declined lip of the trunk. Very clean look, I will be having a skirt made for it to cover up the gaps of the box perhaps next week (this is already paid for, timing is just bad for my schedule).

I will also be wrapping the entire car in 13% tint. Was originally going to go with ceramic, but I do not like the reflective look, and will be sticking with a higher end plain black tint. It'll match the black powder coated rims more smoothly.

The tint will also include a 6" eyebrow (limo, 5%)- taking a vote on if I should put a vinyl graphic across it "(Logo)SUBARU" in a matching blue pearl color. Thoughts, opinions?

Not a big fan of JBL but the install looks clean at least

I really enjoy their subs. I've had em in every car I've owned (8 to date...?).

I actually have a current problem with the subs, when the bass starts to hit higher, my center brake light rattles heavily against the glass. I put a piece of black styrofoam inbetween it to prevent current rattling and loosened the bolts holding the light down.

Wondering how to resolve this issue and make it look clean <_<

A buddy will be visiting later today, hoping that he can press down and pull the light back, as I tighten the bolts and maybe that will hold it in place away from the window.

Started on the removal of the turbo back exhaust today. Unfortunately bad weather came in so I still have to take off the down pipe.

Removal of top mount:

Heat shield taken off and down pipe bolts:

Mid pipe and quad tip removed:

Tomorrow morning I'll take off the down pipe and my order should be coming in so I can get to installing! Can't wait!

order some sound deadening material and line the truck area with it near the places that rattle the most like the trunk lid and around the tail light mounts.

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/cat_i145_sound-dampening-deadening.html?category_id=145&filter_f_r_749[min]=7&filter_f_r_749[max]=15&filter_in_stock=yes&sort_order=price_asc

and the subs are rated at 350rms each but without knowing the amps model number idk what you are actually giving them.

The bolts were torqued on pretty damn hard, so yeah. I had to take it off to make more room for leverage and so I didn't hit anything important when the bolts broke.

It's how I did it last time- just easier overall for me. B)

After several hours of annoying removal, the new exhaust which was supposed to be here yesterday, never showed up.

Called Import Image Racing to find out it'll be 2 weeks for the down pipe and 4 weeks for the quad tip. Yay... Now I get to put all the stock crap back on and play the waiting game -_-

Obv not Mexicans or the exhaust would be done already and install itself.
