I'd just keep the 4.10 gears. Unless you got plenty of cash to waste.
I run 4.10 on my truck with roughly 35s. Stock 3.55, I think 4.56 would be better but I wouldn't bother if I were you unless you really wanna.

Tires lookin good btw. :)

Beginning of the Appalachian.
There are mountains all around, but my drive to work is pretty flat. I dont think I would DD the Jeep often though

New tie rod and drag link should arrive tomorrow so this weekend I should be able to get those installed, trim the rear fender, trim the pinch seams, install my bumper and mount the tires. Should be awesome when its done but I havent found anything to replace the rear tire carrier with yet.

Can you fab at all?

I can make you a set of drawings for a rear tire carrier

If not it's gunna cost you between 500-1500 depending how crazy you wana go.


Is also seach Craig's list and jeep/off road forums or local clubs


Or bring it to a fab shop and have them build you a custom one

Still gotta cut the rear fenders, trim the pinch seams, mount the rear wheels, and then get everything aligned

Thanks man.

I got the rear fenders cut today and trimmed the pinch seams. Mounted the tires and drove around a bit and it seems like everything is good. The toe measures almost dead even front to back so I may need to adjust it a hair (I think its supposed to be toed in 1/8"). And I think the steering is very slightly off center, which I can adjust too.

After getting it all done Ive realized I NEED a lift ASAP. The rear tire only has an inch or two clearance from the bumper. I may go ahead and order a kit this week, until then its parked at my parents house :(
