Id keep looking. Ive seen plenty of much cleaner NAs in the $5k range. I would think you could find a better one for close to what you are looking to spend of a bit more.

My dad has a '90 and its super clean. Very neat car to drive but the sheer lack of power kills it for me (he/we have been debating a LS swap for a while now).
Idk what ours is at milage wise but its getting up there and it seems like it may be nearing time for at least a rebuild.

I don't think there is many left cleaner than the red one I posted..

My area has a few that have no rust in the area for 3-3.5k

Are they as clean as the second one though? I really am thinking it's worth 5.

So the guys with the red one wont budge on the price. But I went and looked at the white one today. It's bad, but not beyond repair. Running and driving is fine, no issues. Heat works great, interior is fine, clutch is fine. So it's only ugly to look at. Needs new front and rear glass. It is actually a hard top. And the idiot who owned it before him drilled some holes in the rear quarter so he could run zip strips and make it look "Stitched" together? What a fucking idiot. But at least I'm good with glass. Long story short, I got him down to 2.5k. He said he will call me in the morning to let me know, depending on this other guy who wants to come see it.

I think I got it for 2.5k though.

Personally, id find one for under $1k that doesnt run at all but has a halfway decent body.
