my buddy checked for the shipping but i think that only includes the boat cuz chances are the boat goes from jap to bc then it will be by train and on north american built cars you save some taxes ( ex: vette )

Not sure how it works in different states, but years ago the ministry of transportation in Ontario actually approved some revins. So when that car's vin was run after it was assigned a new vin, it was seen as LHD, even by insurance companies.
