Chevy cobalt
08-10 ss/tc

Turbo ftw

No more than 20 grand, $14-16k range, stock 260 hp, 2 door. Fun as hell, still pretty new finding one with under 50k miles is np

Or 05-07 models are supercharged, stock 205 hp. Cheaper, bur that isnt a issue direxty related to you.

Don't settle for anything else.

Wicked fun to drive, and you WON'T KILL YOURSELF.

Why would you advise someone looking for a 25000$ sports car a cobalt  even if he can save a few thousand it's not worth it

Hes getting this car bought for him,
I doubt he knows what makes a sports car a sports car

But a sporty car, good looking cheap and faily easy to work on these cars can take you a hell of a long way. They are severely underrated cars. Not my shitty base ofc, the ss .

Just don't drive like an idiot. Think about how much your parents spent on the car and how much you value your life and your source of transportation lol. Drive safe.

Don't get anything with any sort of horsepower for your first car. Everyone crashes their first car guaranteed, its just a matter of how badly you do it - and the possibility of you hurting yourself goes up with the horsepower in said graph.

You see where the torque crosses through? That doesn't even matter, you shouldn't have that much horsepower in your first car. Anything over 200hp and you are pooched.
