the 06 is alright, the 07's came with terrible factory tunes and were known for ringland failures. Also the 08 WRX hatch has a shitty turbo and is very weak.

2004s were much more problematic than 07s. You got lucky as fuck with your 04 lol. If were to look at one again it'd be an 06.

i dont know anyone with any problems with their 04's. Some guy is near 300k miles with his 04 STi

My buddy's 04 has 49k on it and it hasnt run right in about 2 years and nobody can figure out why. They've changed literally everything.
