after winning in vegas, i have 1200 bucks to spend on my car.

first i can go with the power route, which would include 3.73 gears, jlt cai, and a boss 302 intake manifold.

cai: http://www.americanmuscle.com/jlt-cold-air-2011gt.html

intake: http://www.americanmuscle.com/boss-intake-manifold-2011gt.html

gears: http://www.americanmuscle.com/ford-373-2011v6.html

or i can go with the appearance aspect, which would include, a roush chin splitter, gt/cs spoiler, and a cervini ram air hood, all would be painted black, my car is gunmetal grey.

hood: http://www.americanmuscle.com/cervinis-ramair4-hood-1314.html

spoiler: http://www.americanmuscle.com/painted-gtcs-spoiler-1013.html

chin splitter: http://www.americanmuscle.com/roush-chinspoiler-2013.html

input guys?

CAI and boss mani won't add shit performance wise. intake might make your car breath a little more but since your already tuned you wont get much out of it. boss mani doesn't add shit, just keeps you in the power band longer and lets you rev a little higher, which isn't really beneficial power wise unless your at the track.

Well an entire kit yes . No internals or block.
I see it all the time, people wishing they just bit the bullet from the start and boostedthere car. Instead of spending all that money twice

i dont intend on keeping the car long enough to benefit/justify supercharging it.

the next car i purchase within a years time from now will be what i build for real (hoping itll be the c7 stingray with z51 package)

well i saw a video of a guy with the same mods i have now, lth, xpipe and a tune, then added a cai and boss intake and he dyno'd in at mid 440s, so im hoping i can attain something near that.

boss mani takes power down low and adds power to the end of the curve, so for a daily driver I wouldn't do it. Also that dyno is STD which typically reads higher...

so youd advise upgrading other things than the intake and mani then?

im just saying I wouldn't do the boss mani, in my opinion lots of people go with that mod on the forums and then wonder why their car feels more sluggish down low than previously. The only reason I have an intake on my mustang is because I got it for free. I'm not exactly sure the cost outweighs the marginal benefits that the intake would bring.

Now if you were planning on going super charged later down the line then I would definitely pick up an intake now, but like you said you weren't planning on it.
