Damn. Thats high.
Think I could get by for a few months with the stock gears on 35s? Ill have my mustang for long highway drives still.
Would it be easy to find some stronger axles with 4.10s (or higher?) already in them and just swap the axles for about the same price?

I bought a Jeep last night. I was thinking about a newer, nicer one but for $15k it should be a fun ride. Both bumpers have a little damage too them but I already planned on replacing both with aftermarket so that just helped the price out.
Only thing I really dislike is the soft top but Im going to start looking for a hardtop soon.
The current tires are pretty used up, im hoping to find a deal on some new rims and 35s.

This isnt an actual pic of it but it looks just like this but with the chrome door handles

Soft top would bug the fuck outta me imo.

Possibly

What area are you in?

If u wana go half ton u could maybe get A ford 9inch and a Dana 44 with matching 4.56's

But 14 bolt rears are cheap but 1 ton fronts are 1200+

Is the soft top noisy when driving at higher speeds?

Makes it so easy to break into and the noise things are the only reason I'd hate it.

It is noisy, but with the radio up a bit its not too bad. I plan to get a hardtop as soon as I can but idk how soon that will be.
And ya, all you gotta do is unzip the back and you can climb right in. I make sure not to leave anything inside, but I also live in a pretty low crime area.

I do have a question for you offroad guys.
The stock rims are 16s. Do they make many 35" tires (or slightly smaller) that will fit on the stock rims? I would like to buy rims and tires right away but tires now and rims down the road would be way easier to justify as long as the tires can swap right over to new rims.

I would like a stance similar to this
