Turbo lag is still a thing. The nature of a turbo dictates that it will always be a thing, regardless of efforts to minimize it.


I'm a fan of both. I like the idea of a solid, big displacement motor with a modest amount of boost added. If you can't get it done without a million lbs of boost, you need more displacement...

yeah ive lost the air to air boot on the semi before. 79k pounds up a hill with no boost sucks balls. it was a huge struggle. truck didnt want 60mph on flat ground like that either.

You're talking as if they're remotely common. Even with that kind of shit you still won't get all the low end power you do from a n/a motor.
