depends on the preference and what kind of deal you can get on the new car (with factory rebates, dealers clearing out '13 models at the end of the year, owners loyalty, etc). But to go into a dealership and by a new car at sticker price is a waste of money in my opinion. My GF bought a brand new 2014 model yesterday and with negotiating/rebates, we managed to get almost $3k off sticker, so its all about the deal you get

They are extremely close on NADA. Sad seeing as his is 10 years old which is close to bottom out value. Yours will continually depreciate heavily over the next 5 years.
