For the 800ish hp you want to make you dont have to reinvent the wheel. Stock heads with a little clean up work port matched to an ls6 intake with a small turbo cam and arp studs with ls9 gaskets will carry you there all day. A ported ls6 oil pump and ls2 timing chain will have you set. Ls7 lifters and some shelf comp hardened pushrods is all thats left. Stock crank, rods, and pistons will do fine on E-85 or pump 93+ meth injection.
