So I got the carb out and it was dirty as fuck, I bought the carb cleaner and of course the seal is blow so once I started to spray it just blew up and started leaking the cleaner everywhere. So I got a bucket saved what I could and threw the two pins in a jug with the cleaner.
I also added the carb itself minus the float assembly and the float bowl. I know I need to clean the float needle but i'll do that tomorrow.

So IF i took everything apart correctly and once I get more cleaner and spray it all out tomorrow will I just be able to rinse it in the sink, air blow it, and then slap it back together and throw it on the bike and wallah its running again?

I feel like that was way to easy and I missed a step that i'm going to kick myself in the ass for. ALSO, do I need to lube it or anything before I put it back together and do I just tighten the pins back to snug?

I took out the pin with a hex shape and the one with the flat head. I am going to spray in those holes tomorrow and then spray down the float assembly and put it back together. Hopefully she'll start up!

You did fine. The pins are actually the jets.

I knew I was saying something wrong, i'm just worried I did something wrong with the flood pin.

If you look at the first picture I posted the way I got it out was from unscrewing that screw right next to where the float pin would be, that screw was holding a lubed rod in place.
I read somewhere that's my "intake screw" or something along those lines, am I just getting that confused with another screw and I did actually take this thing apart right?

LASTLY, how will I know it's all clean?

Put it all back like it was and run it. That is the simplest way to check. You should be able to hold the jets up to a light and see through them if they are clean.

Alright i'm thinking about doing the top end rebuild as I bought it from original owner who bought it in 1999. He has no idea how many hours but he said he never did a top end rebuild.
He's going to give me the Gasket set and Piston rings so i'll have to find out what else I need and where to get it from.

Figure while it all already apart I mine as well get it all set.

I don't know what that rod could be. That carb looks different than the Kehin carb that's on my CR. But just soaking/spraying the jet and hitting it with air should clean it fine. Don't ever tighten them either, just hand tight then slightly snug them up and it should be good.

Also forgot to ask, when you kick start it is it relatively easy to kick or is it hard the kick the lever?

Check the compression first, it may not even need a top end rebuild. If it's low and you have to do one it is easy.

It was pretty easy to kick, also what's a good compression to be at for this bike?

Also

Alright and to clarify what the manual says, so for the pilot air screw it says turn out 1-3/4 turns. Does that mean tighten snug and then loosen 1-3/4?

A good top end for a 2 stroke is 100+ psi compression.

And yes to your edit. You will be messing with the carb once you get it running ok to mess with jetting etc. if it isn't jetted properly already.
