yeah, there are good deals everywhere bro, just gotta look. ignore fmx, idk why he has a fixation with older cars, newer is better, less problems, less miles, more benefits in general.

unless your primary concern is just speed speed speed, you can listen to the moron and go buy a 97 camaro, dump 5k into it and be speed racer all you want!

Naw, just something that will 0-60 in 5.5 or less id be happy im sure.

Imma take the advice and look around some more, thanks guys. :)

Im not set on beating something though, (stang vs camaro) I mean it would really only come down to a car maybe on  the street lol.
Something 5.5 secs or less 0-60 id be happy im sure.

Im a Chevy / Camaro person, but thats only because thats what ive drove, I like the new mustangs.

Id rather have a real nice old car though then a new one prolly. Im weird like that :P

v6 mustang runs 0-60 in 5.3 seconds
Before I bought this S600 I was tempted to buy a V6 mustang to make a cheap drag car that is on a new platform
I bet with a turbo the v6 will dish out 550+whp no problem and they come with the driveline from the v8 cars(same trans ect)

My credit score is mid 700's, her's is absolutely horrible, no can do lol.
The only issue the car choice, not getting financed.

i rather be seen in a pretty much brand new car than a 15 year old camaro, regardless if it will beat it.

idky youre so butthurt over mustangs, but do cry more please. people can afford to buy newer things, not have to pick from the bargin lot.

I'm not crying over mustangs. The coyote powered cars are a great bargain. It's guy came in here wanting a 4th gen ls1 car or a c5 vette and you are pushing him to spend 2-3x as much on a new mustang which is a 90 degree turn from what he was looking at. Next you will be recommending a mustang to a guy asking about pickup trucks. There is a time and place for everything.

if you read his first post it says "im really open to anything" so, with that in mind, i recommended him something a littler on the newer side. he says he can spend 1k a month on it, so why not suggest something a little more from this decade? 21k for a low mileage mustang gt isnt bad, and that can be brought down lower still.

this was the perfect time to offer something other than what he said, good job on totally thinking outside of the box bro!

well if thats your preference thats all good then.

the 2011+ stangs run a 4.5 0-60, and weigh less than the newer camaros, so theyre a tad quicker.

but if you like the old camaro idea than go for it bro.

Try reading the first fucking post once and a while jackass. I'm not obsessed with older vehicles. I have a 2011 2SS that stickered for probably 5k more than your day's GT. This guy clearly wanted an older performance car he could work on and not have a ton of money tied up in it so that is what I talked about with him. He already has a 97 camaro. It's a v6 and that is the lt1 body. Big difference between that and an ls1 car.

You call me speed racer but you post vids of your full exhaust brand new mustang doing short pulls in congested traffic to show off your exhaust... Oh the irony.

damn youre right, i need to read through the lines. "im open to anything though" clearly translates to "i want an older project car to tinker with" teach me to fucking read bro, i suck at it.

congrats also on spending 5k more on a camaro that gets out performed than a mustang gt, but who cares!

i posted a vid of me on the parkway, with no traffic, go watch it again so in your next post, you can at least be partially accurate.
