Depends on the person, cus i see no point in rock crawling.

Any idiot can buy a cold air intake for their cavalier, it takes some skill and a built rig to make it through trails.
Difference is, tuner fags buy a car, add shiny go fast crap and smoked out tail lights off e***, and drive around doing 50 in a 30 with their fart pipes waking up my kids, and guys that like wheelin usually build their vehicles from the ground up which right there is half the fun, generally know a lot more about vehicles, and can do a lot more mechanically, and from my experience are more friendly and will help you when you out if you need it (parts, tow, gas etc)

I like swamp bogging myself...

I do to, its some hard on riggin though, the dirt here is super fine and gets stuck everywhere, seals, bushings, bearings etc go to crap fast.
No to mention I hate cleaning mud.

I agree that the offroading community is generally pretty tight, but I think you're generalizing a bit much about street vehicles. When my ball joint went boom several people stopped to offer help, and if anyone I know would go 50 through a residential neighborhood, I'd hurt them. Some of us have families of our own to worry about. I even know a few decent tuner guys, although I have had to shut down an awful lot of mouthy kids with fart cannons.

Yeah I am biased. But to each their own I guess. I just shake my head when I see "modified" tuners.

what you're describing are ricers, not tuners.

I guess you can say the same thing about mall crawlers and off roaders too then. Every community has dumb ones.
