Most likely bad install. Make sure the holes on the top of the strut and bottom are aligned and the spring properly seated before putting them on the car.

pretty much this, the head wasnt properly installed, now it runs perfectly! Will take a pic of it with the drop if people have interest in it... Over here evo IX are pretty rare so people get crazy when they see one, idk about usa though...

Id say we are 4 in a 100 miles around
