Anyone saying they are getting good gas milage with a hemi is full of fucking shit. The picture bellow was from last weekend pulling the camper with the hemi. (the street truck pulled the same thing and got 21mpg hwy, and that was 573hp/1114ft lbs with twin pumps and 90hp sticks at the time)

P.S. Sadly, that was all highway driving...

Here is the camper, its a 36.5ft bumper pull. loaded weighs around 10k

this pig is getting a 12v / nv5600 heart transplant this winter.

Dodge's computerized fuel economy measurement is notoriously bad too. That same friend with the 4.7 shows 18mpg avg on the overhead display. My diesel is off exactly 25%. They do it to make you feel better if you are too stupid the double check by hand calculating. Mine is reading 27mpg right now in a mega cab 2500. Hand calc its right at 20.

I can also guarantee you aren't getting better highway mileage in an auto hemi than my 06 5.9 diesel with a manual.

jimmy I have a coworker that pulls one like that with a tundra and it gets 11 lol.

It's all good lol. I'm not to worried about it. The only thing i will ever replace it with is an 06/07 5.9 g56 mega cab loaded laramie. Understand why i still have the gasser lol?

I've seen 2 of them forsale in the last 4 months. Both overpriced to fuck.

But i can tell you, you're not pulling this with a tundra. I sit on the overloads in a 3/4 ton. pig is a nightmare to tow with all the hitch weight it has.

At least those Starcraft rigs are comfortable. I'm suprised you even bother pullin' it with a gasser though.
