If you enjoy the FRS/WRX side of things.

Possibly take a look at a Mazda Speed 3 4 cyl turbo. Very fun cars and decent gas mileage.

to op - seriously, as a 2013 mustang gt owner, i can assure you if youre looking for raw power, great platform to build on and the best bang for your buck, you honestly cant go wrong with a mustang.
