Coming from someone who has an Evo, what's your argument against buying an Evo?

Thin paint, thin metal, so many common drivetrain problems its ridiculous. The build quality is so poor throughout everything.

You mean transfer case? Yeah thats one of them lol. The acd pump was not sealed properly and will go after a couple years of winter driving. The synchros like to fuck up. Just look up problems on evom. People don't like to talk about it there because of the fanboi status but its just a poorly built car lol.

Well, we dont really get winters in florida. I know the clear coat likes to peel off the wing, and the front rotors tend to warp. Idk, I've always been a dsm guy.

I'll give you the thin paint, but I can't say it's any less reliable than any other comparable car. The "reliability" problems stem from people not realizing the level of upkeep needed for an Evo. And speaking for the X, Mitsubishi has addressed issues, making adjustments every year since.

The metal is worse than the paint lol. The main reliability issues have nothing to do with upkeep.
