a note: my '91 never had a speedometer so I cant say the real mileage, but I ran an entire year driving 80 miles per day.

if you ran a true entire year then 365 days X 80 miles a day = 29200 miles in 1 year

86 2.5l cherokee 2door - 292k miles when the body rusted beyond repair
92 4.0 cherokee 4 door - 309k miles when a combination of body damage and engine wear from offroading caused me to scrap it
93 5.2 grand cherokee - 240k miles when body rusted away beyond repair and transfer case failed
97 4.0 grand cherokee - 199k miles when body damage from offroading (pics in my profile) caused me to move on
91 4.0 cherokee - 310k miles on engine and it is only used as a toy, will be replacing engine soon.


I'vew got p7100 pump swaps for both of these trucks! Should make that old 1st gen come alive and it will save your ass over time with the vpfail44 electronic pump in the 99 Also got everything you need to swap the 99 to a nv5600 with billet shafts ;)

thats about right. College was a 45 minute drive one way. I got rid of the jeep before i replaced the tires!

Had a 94 4x4 318 dakota as first vehicle.

Would still have it if i didnt buy a car for all the highway driving i do... Was a bullet proof motor, and just entire truck ingeneral ( minus the shit dodge front ends )
Used it for everything a 18 year old kid would... drag racin, haulin scrap, muddin, camping, if you could be stupid enough to try it, i did it pretty much - IE. I guarnteeyou i was the only person is town loading my 1/4 ton truck up with 2 tons of steel, and driving 45 min down the highway to town for beer money on a regular basis.. :)
favouite part of all, straight pipe with cherry bomb. wakin people up at 7 am going to work NEVER got old

jeep are a lot more customizable and very easy to wo rk on. esp the older ones.

dodges are notorious for tranny problems

used wranglers around here are expensive. damn rednecks.
