New beater that I picked up on Saturday, took the pics when I bought it. 43k miles, got it for 14k cash, has navi (even though it's terrible).

Gonna use this as the new daily since my beater Saturn got wrecked by a drunk. I actually had one of these last year that I had bought new in 09, swapped it for an 08 TL-S + a little cash. Getting bored of the TL-S, might sell that and buy an E90 5 Series. Missed the Si for the daily though, glad I got a new one, plus dd'ing the Acura sucked, too much gas for my commute.

So now I have this, TL-S and an 05 S2k. Too much Jap shit for me, selling the TL-S prolly next month, I want something else.

Those civics really are great DDs... If only they didn't get so much shit for the kids that think they're fast.

It's pretty fun to drive, kinda like a go-kart. It revs up pretty nice and what not, but it's definitely slow. Not horribly slow, but just slightly-better-than-econobox slow. Either way, it has a nice exhaust note with the stock exhaust. It's staying 100% stock. I like it.

lol, haha its bespoke interior. Royal colors, blue and gold essentially. And also to match with the exterior paint.

nice line up!

yea e39 Vanos problem is so common, haha. My buddy's e39 m5 vanos had to fix it at 80k

nice e36 set up tho, almost the same as what I did with my e46 before. VF s/c will be cool. Drove a friend's VF650 e92 on the track couple months ago :)

Yeah the e39 is gonna go on craigslist soon, i'd love to find a e39 540i with the 6 speed or a true m5.

I'm hooked on the 3 series now though I think, I believe i'll keep this e36 and maybe even trade my e60 in on a e90 M3 Sedan

I love the e46 m3, the s54 is a complete monster and takes well to mods, but BMW never offered them in a sedan. (I have a 3 year old)

I actually saw a e46 330i sedan with a complete s54/6 speed swap in seattle but the pricetag wasn't attractive.

Tell me more about this m6, how fun was that thing to drive? I've never had the pleasure of having a BMW v10 under my foot.

He would fit, he's just kind of weird with small spaces (Diagnosed with Autism last June) and he's already pretty much ruined my passenger seat from kicking the back of it so much in my e36 lol... Love him to death. He needs a little more leg room than the coupe can provide.

Absolutely man gotta give the little guy what he wants.

If only they had made it in a sedan that would be so sick.

Still driving the DD Mz3 until the end of this year, when I get a new car. :)

Did some spring cleaning, and she looks better than when I got her from the dealer over a year ago. I still have the vacuum sealed dealer plastic in it, lol

yeap e46 brought back memories, I had a topaz blue and a titanium silver. One in SMG2 and one in 6MT.

Well for M6, I had the e46 SMG2, and M5 pre-LCI SMG3 and also the M6 LCI SMG3.
I tried the M5 in 6MT several times and I didn't rly like the power delivery, gear ratio is kinda weird since it only has 6 gears instead of 7.
The car is sort of built for SMG. I know most people hate the SMG, but ive been driving SMG for 10 years, even SMG1 on e36,
and most people try to drive it like an automatic, which it is for from. You really gotta drive it like a sequential race gearbox, pretend the clutch pedeal is not there,
you really gotta feel the clutch engaging. Most people I know with a fukd up transmission is because they even put it on auto mode, that will really kill your smg pump and clutch and flywheel.

As to power, the V10 def one of my favorite powerplants. Obviously the power is amazing, but im into high torque at high rpms, linear increasing power, that's best way for me to modulate power during a track or normal roads.
Probably worse is the mpg, my combine average for M5/M6 usually fall between 8.8 and 10.2 mpg.

I liked SMG2 a lot, i've heard the SMG3 feels a bit more sloppy on engagement, giving a smoother but less agressive shift.

SMG never did happen on the e90 m3 so I'll be looking for a 6MT for that probably.

yea SMG3 does feel a little bit more heavy on engagement. I guess its built for sedan and a GT.
But in either SMG2 and SMG3, the euro spec software is 10x better, much faster and more aggressive.
auto blips more and the launch control is held at higher rpm.
I did an ECU flush out with euro software, cuz I couldn't stand it, since my e46 and e60 were eurospec since those cars were in asia.

e90 is nice haha. last NA M car, sadly. I do like the e90 drive better, the addition of B pillar makes me feel more stiff on cornering. Though I like the e92 looks.
6MT is ultra light and smooth. DCT is super fast, great for track use and auto mode. Depends what you want in your car and what you plan doing with it.
