Advertised as an off road truck, don't use it for off road, pay 40k.

The 2.8 liter 96 chevy s10 was also advertised as an off road truck... Nobody with a brain attempted the baja 1000 in it.

Raptor > TRD Taco

Apples to apples bro.

Uh, Ford themselves advertised it as the top notch off road vehicle, showing them jumping it and doing high speed off road races. The 1996 S10 advertisement shows it drive down a dirt road (yes, I looked it up).

But hey, if you like dumping 40k on a low performance "off road" bro dozer, have fun.

I love automotive, and I love computers. one thing both of these groups share in common is they have 2 kinds of people. ones who build their own stuff spec it out decide what they want and go for it. Then there is the ones who pay absurd amounts of money for the same performance if not less. The latter tend to be try hards who really just have no clue. but use their money as a shield to claim that they know what they are doing when in reality they really dont.

Does more than driving a dirt road on the commercial I've got on my vhs recording of the gulliver's travels tv movie... More to the point is that advertisements virtually always show more than the vehicle's capable of... Nissan sedans sliding around in the salt flats, silverados rock crawling... Commercials are commercials. I still challenge you to find a more capable stock pickup, or a build for a brand new pickup which keeps the net cost under 40 grand and can outperform it with comparable or better durability.
