ive got 1 kicker 12" comp vr with a kx120.2 kicker amp (bought both back in like 2003 right after getting out of high school) and it hits good enough with the speaker and amp bridged. hell if you adjust it right you can still rattle everything in the car and when it was in my camaro it sounded awesome. if you just want good sounding bass inside the car theres no reason to go to extremes. dont buy all that shit unless you are going to be in competitions with it.
e/ i dont see why everyone thinks they have to stick multiple huge subs with a big amp in their vehicle and then they wind up having to change alternators and batteries and running capacitors and shit. unless youre doing competitions its useless
same reason people throw 700hp engines in cars they drive everyday....they like it.
when i do installs i generally spend as much on sound deadening materials as i do the alternator upgrade lol.
