If its a show car, HASport has their j swapped crx if you want something that will stand out. Or an F20C I think can be retrofitted onto a K series tranny and those are forged from the factory for big power without opening it up

How hard is it gonna be to put a f20c in this rex and How much would it cost.
I will be bringing it to a shop so I want to make sure its not gonna need to have all sorts of the car cut out.

I was really wanting something that will fit easily and not cost a lot of money extra in work.

B swap.

It may be run of the mill, but just do it better than the majority of those people.

For the cost, you can't beat it.

I've read everywhere either B or D series.
I want whatever is gonna be the least amount of work someone has to do but I also want a Strong motor so I can fix it up completely and Boost it eventually as well.
I just know the motor that is in it now is weak as balls, and just as slow.

Ya. Won't be racing. Just want a quick car with enough power to lug around my system and 2 people in it.
But hey, fast would be a bonus. Ill look into pricing of all these. That is the main concern.

b18c1 is the acura integra gs-r motor. its dohc vtec and has 10:1 compression. i believe thats the better one for turbo setups. the others have higher compression.

a guy i knew put a dohc vtec (it was jdm though) in a mid 90s 2 door civic and with a chip tune, exhaust and cai on factory 14s would do like a 14 second quarter mile pass. its nothing spectacular but it would probably be close to what you need/want. you can turbo it later if you want.

by the list i believe his was a b18c3 which is the asian dohc vtec. he had to completely redo the wiring harness though because it was originally in a right hand drive.

I'll see what I can find.

So, the D series are out?
Are any of them worth considering?
