its nowhere close to a true hemisperical combustion chamber. and besides, ford had true hemi heads before dodge so keep bragging on your "hemi in name only" dodge charger. its nothing more than a sticker to get fanboys to buy their cars. its like putting vtec on your civic its for the fanboys
the slowest dodge hemi stock is 5.5sec 0-60 with a top speed over 150, and the fastest vtech stock is over 6.1 sec 0-60 and under 135mph top speed.
if you wanna compare apples to oranges then so will i lol.
as for who had hemi first, pipe and fiat had it waaaaay before ford (early 1900's sometime).... yur point?
its not who had it first, its who made it the best.

What is a hemi? It's a motor that was sloganed for having hemispherical heads... Find me a motor without one.... and i'm here to tell you, those heads on your "hemi" there are nothing close to those found on a 426.
p.s. What compression ratio does one run with a 50% concave?? rofl 2:1?
i dont think you get it, obviously, the larger the chamber / the more air and fuel that can burn (crossflow type configuration in modern hemis) the more power you can get. (vs the old wedge hemi's)
a dodge hemi, with a large concave cylinder head hemi, will make a hell of a lot more power top end then one with a concave that barely breaks under the surface of the head.
the larger the concave, the more air/fuel mixture you get, and the more power you can potentially make.
hence why dodge/chrysler hemi's have 2 spark plugs per cylinder cuz one plug isnt enough to ignite all of it efficiently
hemi's arnt emmissions friendly and dont have the greatest low end power but breath easily at the top end, which, if you are racing it, is where you want it.. unless of course, you are running 1/8 mile or some vaginal crap like that.
